Application Process

Residence Application Form: Applicants must complete the residence application form for investment through the DGM services portal.

Passport: A copy of the complete passport with a minimum validity of one year is required.

Change of Name (if applicable): If the name in the passport differs from the birth certificate, the applicant must provide legally valid documents supporting the name change, such as a marriage certificate, divorce certificate, or adoption certificate, duly apostilled.

Residence Visa (RS): Applicants must hold a valid residence visa (RS) issued at the Dominican consulate in their home country or country of residence before applying.

Medical Exam: A medical exam is required, and the original payment receipt for this service must be submitted. Only medical exams conducted by authorized institutions are accepted.

Birth Certificate: The original birth certificate must be duly apostilled or legalized, as applicable. If the applicant has acquired a different nationality, they must provide a copy of the naturalization certificate, duly certified and apostilled.

Criminal Record: A certificate of no criminal record issued by the competent authority of the country where the applicant has resided for the last five years is required. This certificate must also be duly legalized or apostilled.

Photographs: Four recent photographs are required, two of the front view and two of the right profile, each sized 2×2 inches with a white background.

Government or Official Agency Certification: Applicants must provide certification from a government, official agency, or private company of foreign origin where they provided their services. This document must be translated into Spanish, bear the apostille seal, or be legalized by the Dominican consulate in their home country.

Pension Requirement: The pension must amount to a minimum of US $1,500.00 per month or its equivalent in Dominican pesos. An additional US $250.00 is required for each direct dependent included in the application.

Guarantee Policy: Applicants must have a guarantee policy contracted with ARS Reservas, including coverage for dependents, spouses, and children.

Bank Account: A bank letter confirming the existence of a bank account in a Dominican bank is necessary.

Additional Documents: Depending on individual circumstances, additional documents may be required to verify the applicant’s reliability and qualifications for the program.

Dependent Cases:

  • Spouse: If the application includes a spouse, their documents, including a marriage certificate, birth certificate, and criminal record, must be provided.
  • Minor Children: If minor children are included in the application, their birth certificates, passports, residence visas, and criminal records must be provided.
  • Adult Children: Adult children (over 18) of the beneficiary may be included in the application if they are financially dependent due to study or disability.

Repatriation Policy: An additional repatriation policy is required as per regulations for the application of migration laws.
